Well, my view on logging for a framework and library is that, they should log, for tracing but should not suppress exceptions. Preferably they should use IoC for logging so that applications can configure what should be used for logging.

Pretty good points/guidance raised, I agree with pretty much all of these. Some items may require a little more explanation as to why (e.g. #6).

I wonder if the guidance changes a bit when building libraries (as opposed to applications)? Should libraries log anything?

Thanks Sherwin. In my opinion, if MS bought twitter, they need to retain twitter brand along with the service and should not do any stuff like changing it to litter (LIve + twiTTER) or something. Also they do integrate, for instance they acquired farecast.com and still it is the same.

Do you think that Twitter, as the service exists today, should remain after being absorbed into the MS machine? Should MS change it's strategy from one of assimilation to integration?

Hi there,

That's so true ! I'm pretty nostalgic sometimes and those old days was damn cool !

Recently, I found back almost all my friends from elementary school because of facebook.

And I realise, that there is a special link between us, just because they were almost my first friends. We had a meeting last year after 11 years without seeing each others, that was amazing to see how everyone grows up !

Really nice moment, the time pass so fast ! Where is the pause button, I still didn't find it too :P

My experience is that either we have lot work in hand, with out time to look around and enjoy that moment or surroundings or no work at all which is also a boredom and even if you have time in your hands you may not be interested to look around and enjoy. So the best thing is to accept the reality and live in the present and learn to enjoy life as it comes and as you experience. ......

It is common to enjoy the thing of the past by recollecting the happier moments and also the difficult journeys passed by. When we were kids or at the moments we did not enjoy those moments at the time of happening. So my approach is to live and enjoy the present. " Thedal" with in ourselves "Who am I" may bring us peace and glory but it is long story to continue.....
